Predicted viewability
With predicted viewability targeting, you can target a percentage threshold of viewable impressions. For example, a targeted predicted viewability of "50% and more" ensures that at least half of an Auction Package's impressions will also be viewable to the end user.
Equativ’s viewability measurement has limited coverage on in-stream video/VAST inventory as well as the inventory of publishers integrated on a server-side header bidding basis. Thus, this kind of inventory is excluded from the targeting of predicted viewability segments.
Predicted video completion
With predicted video completion targeting you can target video ad completion rates. For example, targeting a predicted video completion rate of "50% and more" ensures that at least 50% of the delivered video ads have been watched to the end by the end users.
Equativ’s in-house deep learning algorithm predicts the video completion rate in real time for each ad opportunity. If the predicted video completion rate is less than the video completion rate targeted in the deal, then the deal won't participate in the auction. In case of predictions equal to or greater than the targeted video completion rate, the deal remains in the auction.
Access
To access predicted viewability/video completion targeting, select Media Planning from the navigation menu. The predicted viewability/video completion targeting options will appear in the Data marketplace section of the Targeting panel. You can also access predicted viewability/video completion targeting directly from the line item page. For more information, see Create line item: targeting.
Configure predicted viewability targeting
To configure predicted viewability targeting, follow these steps:
- In the Targeting section, expand the Data marketplace tab.
- Select the desired predicted viewability threshold. To remove your selection, select Clear.
As you select the predicted viewability threshold, the inventory insights update in real time. For more information, see Get inventory insights.
Configure video completion targeting
To configure predicted video completion targeting, follow these steps:
- In the Targeting section, expand the Data marketplace tab.
- Select the desired predicted video completion rate threshold. To remove your selection, select Clear.
