This creative template is being phased out because it is compatible with SDK 7 only. The SDK 8 does not support this creative template.

Overview

Formerly named "Smart Video-Native Ad SDK VAST". The "Video native (redirect)" creative template displays a VAST ad within the app content matching the app's look and feel. It consists of a video and optional image creatives.

Creatives

This ad format supports both portrait and landscape orientations. The video must be set as a valid VAST 2.0 or VAST 3.0 XML file URL in the creative template parameters. The VAST must contain at least one mp4 video encoded in H264. Optionally, images can be added for poster, icon and cover image:

  • Creative #1: poster image of the video; image files only; optional
  • Creative #2: icon image of the native ad; image files only; optional
  • Creative #3: cover image of the native ad; image files only; optional

Keep in mind Indexing of creatives is fixed; if you do not want to use a creative, add a transparent image instead in order to keep the order of creatives. For example, add a transparent image as Creative #1 if you do not want to use any poster image but only the icon image and cover image.
