Overview

The Delivery chart is a powerful tool to analyze overbooking situations. It visualizes an insertion's expected delivery and its actual delivery. 

Access

To access the Delivery chart, open the insertion list of a campaign and select Delivery chart from the ... context menu. Depending on the status of your network, either the new or legacy delivery chart is available.

Insertion KPIs and properties

Above the chart, the following insertion KPIs and properties are displayed:

• Forecast:
  • Good: the insertion is on track to reach its goal, but the status may still change. For example, if a newly created competing insertion requires inventory and takes it from this insertion, an overbooking situation could occur.
  • Overbooked: if the insertion continues delivery as it currently does, it will likely not reach its goal.
  • Goal completed: the insertion has ended and reached its goal.
  • Under-delivered: the insertion has ended but did not reach its goal.
  • No goal: the insertion has no goal to be reached, for example, in case of insertions with the priorities Exclusive or Very low.
  • Unknown: the progress status of the insertion is unknown due to a limitation or another known issue.
• Priority: the insertion priority; for more information, see Create direct insertion: priorities.
• Booked imps.: the goal volume of the insertion
• Delivered: the volume delivered to date.
• Will be delivered: the volume still to be delivered.
• Will not be delivered: the volume which will not be delivered due to overbooking.
• Has not been delivered: the volume of an ended insertion that has not been delivered.  

Chart

The chart displays the insertion progress over time, with the following curves: 

• Delivered (blue continuous line): the delivery to date
• Forecast (blue dashed line): the delivery as predicted by the forecast
• Goal (green dashed line): the goal volume to be achieved
• Target (grey): the delivery, as expected to occur

Legacy delivery chart

The legacy delivery chart is displayed on a dedicated tab. It shows the following curves:

• Delivered (blue): the actual delivery to date
• Forecast (green): the delivery as predicted by the forecast
• Target (red): the delivery, as expected to occur; available only if the insertion delivery mode is set to Paced.

Modifications that affect insertion delivery are represented by blue triangles with a tooltip showing the details of the modification. The Modifications bar is hidden if there is no relevant modification to show.
