    Overview

    Formerly named "Video-Header" / "RTB+ Video-Header". The "Video header" creative template displays a video ad at the top of the page and remains there when the user scrolls down.

    Skip delay Specifies a number of seconds until the close button appears. If the value is empty the ad will not be skippable.  
    Small player height Specifies the small player height. 250

    Tracking URL A third party tracking URL. Make sure you add [timestamp] to the URL for cache busting.  
    Use transparent label background Use a transparent background behind the label. Useful when used with overlaying label false
    Vertical offset Specifies vertical offset of creative (in px). It is particularly useful to avoid overlaying a navigation menu element. 0

    Video player height Specifies the video player height (in px).  
    Video player width Specifies the video player width (in px). The height will be calculated automatically using aspect ratio 16:9.  

    Features

    The placement for the ad can be at any location in the document. There is a logic that inserts it as a first element of the content, making the video ad always appear at the top of the page. If the height of the creative in the insertion is higher than the window, the ad is scaled to match the size of the window. In that case, the ad will not cover the full width of the screen.

    Player behavior

    The default behavior of the player is:

    • auto-play
    • loop playback
    • full width 
    • volume button displayed

     When scrolling down, the player changes its behavior as follows:

    • ad is displayed in "sticky to the top" mode
    • player width adjusted automatically, based on the height specified by the user through the parameter "Small player height", preserving the aspect ratio
    • to fill empty spaces, the ad is shown blurred in the background

    When scrolling up to the top, the player goes back to default behavior.

    The player and the data logging start immediately after the page is loaded. See the Report metric reference article.
