Overview

User management is based on three core elements: companies, users, and user roles. These elements define the structure and permissions within the platform, ensuring each user has access to the resources and functions they need based on their role and company association. This article provides information about each of these elements and how they are used in the platform.

Companies, users, and roles

Company

Every Equativ customer is set up as a Maestro company, which is defined by the following criteria:

  • Company name: the name of the company used in Maestro.
  • User list: a set of users associated with the company.
  • Buyer seat list: the set of buyer seats linked to the company, selected during its creation. These seats must match those owned by the customer in their DSPs.
  • Deal list: the list of deals created by all the users within the company.

Users

A user can perform different tasks in the platform based on their assigned role, for example, viewing and booking deals or managing other users. The first user, with the Administrator role, is created when Equativ sets up a Maestro company. This user can then create additional users and assign them to the company.

User roles and permissions

User roles define what users can view and do in the platform.

The following table lists the available user roles and their associated permissions.
