Skin + classic banner
Overview
Formerly named "Skin + Default banner (roadblock)". The "Skin + classic banner" creative template displays at least two ads from a single insertion: a “Skin” ad (usually U-shaped), shown on the left, top and right side of the page and one or more banner ads located within the page’s content.
Most common sizes
Most common RTB sizes of the Skin ad: 990 x 90, 1800 x 1000, 2000 x 1400, 728 x 90, 1000 x 200, 1200 x 250. Most common RTB sizes of the Banner ad: 320 x 480, 300 x 250, 160 x 600, 728 x 90, 960 x 90, 970 x 250, 1010 x 300, 970 x 90, 980 x 250.

Features
Insertion/creative setup
To ensure the proper functioning of the creative template:
- in the Placement section of the insertion, select all formats where the Skin and banner(s) are to be displayed.
- select the Creative display mode “All”; for more information about this option, see Create direct insertion: inventory.
- upload the Skin creative and the banner creative; for each creative, select the appropriate format in the “Available formats” field; for more information about creative setup, see Add and manage creatives.
- additionally, specify the format ID(s) where the Skin ad is to be displayed in the “Skin formats” parameter of the creative template (see “Creative template parameters” above). Failing to add the format ID(s) here will lead to the Skin creative being displayed as a banner which may break the page since the Skin ad is too big.
Click management for HTML5 creatives
This ad format is able to identify the click destination for HTML5 creatives by using:
- the click counting library; for more information, see Manage click counting
- the clicktag variables passed in the source of the iframe; Important: HTML5 creatives must have the click destination recognition implemented:
