Add third-party measurement codes
Overview
To track key events such as impressions, viewability, and other metrics in third-party systems, you can add third-party measurement JavaScript code or URLs.
The following table outlines the supported third-party measurement types for each creative format and creation method.

Access
Select Campaigns from the navigation menu, then choose the line item containing the creative to which you want to add the third-party measurement code.
Add third-party measurement code
To add the third party measurement code, follow these steps:
- Add or edit a creative.
- In the Add a creative or Edit a creative window, select Add new third-party measurement.
- In the Third-party measurement field, paste the JavaScript code or URL. Take into consideration the following requirements:
- For Vendor and Purpose fields, see Vendor and purpose.
Vendor and Purpose
To comply with the GDPR privacy legislation, the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) requires to specify the vendor and purpose for each third-party measurement JavaScript code or URL.
Once you paste the third-party measurement JavaScript code or URL, the vendor and purpose will be auto-selected. If you are missing a vendor or purpose, contact your Equativ representative.
Delivery behavior by user consent status
Consent status | Delivery behavior |
---|---|
Positive: user consents to personal data processing | A creative is delivered, including the third-party measurement JavaScript code or URL. |
Negative: user rejects personal data processing | A line item or creative isn't delivered. |
Unknown: user’s consent status is unavailable | A line item or creative is delivered only to end users at geolocations where the GDPR doesn't apply. |
