Work with line items

Overview

Line items can be managed using a variety of actions, each designed to give you full control over your configurations. Specifically, you can: 

  • Edit: adjust the settings of a line item.
  • Duplicate: create a new line item by duplicating an existing one, with the option to modify settings as needed. 
  • Archive: archive a line item that is no longer needed.
  • Deactivate/Activate: temporarily pause a line item or reactivate it without the need to delete it. 
  • View history: access a detailed log of all changes made to a line item.

Access

Select Campaigns from the navigation menu, then click the given campaign. You will see the list of line items along with their details.

Edit line item

To edit a line item, follow these steps:

  1. Select Campaigns from the navigation menu and click the given campaign. 
  2. In the Line Items list, click the three-dot icon on the right of a line item. 
  3. Select Edit
  4. Select Edit next to the relevant line item sections and update them. 
  5. Select Save changes.

When editing a line item to extend its end date, you must make the same change in the parent campaign. Otherwise, the change won’t be taken into account, resulting in the campaign and line item not delivering.

 

Duplicate line item

To duplicate a line item, follow these steps:

  1. Select Campaigns from the navigation menu and click the given campaign. 
  2. In the Line Items list, click the three-dot icon on the right of a line item. 
  3. Select Duplicate
  4. Select With creatives or Without creatives to duplicate a line item with or without its creatives.
  5. Update the line item configuration and add creatives if needed.
  6. Select Duplicate a line item.

The copied line item will be added to the Line items list.

Deactivate/Activate line item

To deactivate/activate a line item, follow these steps:

  1. Select Campaigns from the navigation menu and click the given campaign. 
  2. In the Line Items list, click the three-dot icon on the right of a line item. 
  3. Select Deactivate/Activate.

For deactivated line items, the line item status will change to Inactive. For activated line items, the status will change to Active.

You cannot activate a line item with no creatives.

 

Besides deactivating an individual line item, you can also deactivate the whole campaign to stop it and all associated line items from running.

 

Archive/Unarchive line item

To archive/unarchive a line item, follow these steps:

  1. Select Campaigns from the navigation menu and click the given campaign. 
  2. In the Line Items list, click the three-dot icon on the right of a line item. 
  3. Select Archive/Unarchive

 When archived, the line item status will change to Archived. When unarchived, the line item will change to Inactive.

View history

To display a line item change log, follow these steps:

  1. Select Campaigns from the navigation menu and click the given campaign. 
  2. In the Line Items list, click the three-dot icon on the right of a line item. 
  3. Select View history
